Alexandra Rose Raisman Bio

Alexandra Rose Raisman, born May 25 1994 she is an American retired gymnast who was an artistic. She has also been twice Olympian. She was leader of the 2012 "Fierce Five" as well as the"Fierce Five," and the 2016 "Final Five,"" U.S. women’s Olympic gymnastics team. She took home a gold team medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to have two consecutive gold medals in this event. Raisman also won silver in the individual all-around and floor exercise. She is the 3rd most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history, following Shannon Miller and Simone Biles who have won six Olympic medals.Raisman was also a member of the gold-winning American teams in the 2011 and 2015 World Championships, and the bronze medalist in the world championships on floor exercise in the year 2011. She was also the two-time national champion in floor exercise (2012,2015), the 2012 national champion on the balance beam, and a five-time medalist at the national championships in the all around (silver in 2016 and silver in 2012, 2011 in 2012, 2011, and 2013 and 2015). In 2013, she was admitted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Raisman was born on May 25, 1994 in the Boston suburb of Needham, Massachusetts, to Lynn (nee Faber), the former high school gymnast, and Rick Raisman. She has three younger sisters: Madison, Chloe, and Brett. Raisman is Jewish and has stated, "I take a lot of satisfaction from being able to not just represent the U.S.A, but also the Jewish community everywhere. Raisman started gymnastics at 18 months. She credits her love for gymnastics to the "Magnificent Seven", an American women's team which won the gold medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics. The athlete was trained at Exxcel Gymnastics and Climbing up to Level 8, then went to Brestyan's American Gymnastics Club, where she was directed by Silvia Brestyan and Mihai Brestyan. Raisman has graduated from Needham High School in 2012. She finished her senior year online and was working towards the Olympics.

Dolly Rebecca Parton was created on January 19, 1946, in Pittman Center (Tennessee). She was born to Avie Lee Parton and Robert Lee Parton in Sevierville.
