Tramar Lacel, better known as his stage
name Flo Rida (American rapper and singer, as well as songwriter), is a Carol
City, Florida-based artist composer, musician, and songwriter. His 2008 single
"Low" reached number one for 10 consecutive weeks across the United
States. It also broke the record for sales of digital downloads in the year at
hand. The debut album of Flo Rida, 2008's Mail on Sunday reached number four in
the United States. The album was followed by R.O.O.T.S., the next year. The
albums that followed, the 2010's Only One Flo Part 1 and 2012's Wild Ones
charted on US Billboard 200 charts. Flo Rida has sold over 80 million albums
worldwide and is among the most successful artists of music. His catalog
contains international hits like "Right Round", Club Can't Handle
Me" and "Good Feeling". ", "My House" Mail on
Sunday was Flo Rida's debut album. It was released in March 2008. The track
"Low" with T-Pain was the first. The track was also included on the
soundtrack to Step Up 2: The Streets. "Low" made it to No.
"Low" reached No. 1. on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
"Elevator" which featured Timbaland as well as "In the
Ayer" featuring will.i.am and will.i.am, were followed by "Roll"
featuring Sean Kingston. Both charted on the Hot 100 as well. In addition to
T-Pain's appearance There were a variety of featured guests on Mail on Sunday.
Timbaland was the producer behind the single "Elevator" is also
featured on the track. Rick Ross, and Trey Songz appeared on the track as well.
Lil Wayne performed the song "American Superstar" while Sean Kingston
sang "Roll" which was co-written by Spitfiya a Compton rapper. Other
guests included Birdman, Brisco, and Yung Joc. The fourth single was originally
planned to be "Money Right" featuring Rick Ross and Brisco, but the
song was scrapped due to the upcoming release R.O.O.T.S., Flo Rida’s second
studio album. T-Pain's second collaboration "I Bet" and his
collaboration with Trina ("Bout It"), did not appear on the final
tracklist. However both tracks were recorded.
