Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on November 18th, 1985 in Los Angeles. The father of her Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, and Her mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix displayed a knack for sports early in her life, and discovered her athletic abilities when she attended Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, in just 10 weeks, after the first time she tried out. Felix has graduated high school in 2003 signed an athletic contract with Adidas. She then attended the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place at Athens Greece. Felix set the Junior World Record running 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she became the youngest world champion of 200 meters of all time at the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, over her former Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently within the top three in her various events at the Olympics that took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
