Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix discovered early that she had a talent to run when she was a student at Los Angeles Baptist High School. At her first attempt, she placed within the top two places in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix signed a contract for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003. She after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. She was the youngest world winner in the 200m at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in her first Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo consistently placing within the top three of her events.
